Nrep wins SPCC Nordic Excellence Award

Nrep, the Nordic real estate investor, has been awarded the Rising Star title at the SPCC Nordic Excellence Award. The award, presented by the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce (SPCC), recognizes companies active on the Polish market that make significant contributions to innovation and sustainable development.

Our projects include both modern warehouse facilities and innovative housing solutions that meet the needs of the local community while adhering to sustainability standards. In just three years since entering the Polish real estate market, Nrep has become one of the most active private equity investors. In January 2023, the company launched its first rental housing platform (Lett Kłobucka), which has since expanded to three locations in Warsaw: Kłobucka, Markowska, and Lazurowa. In November 2023, Nrep introduced Poland’s first co-living project – Noli Mokotów. Over the past year alone, the company has invested approximately EUR 120 million in three assets with over 1,000 units across both platforms. Currently, around 700 units are operational, with an additional 1,900 under construction.

Nrep, through its Logicenters platform, is also active in the warehouse sector. The company entered the Polish market by acquiring the listed developer Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych. In 2023, through its Nordic Strategies Fund V, it also became the majority shareholder of 7R, a leading logistics developer. The EUR 200 million investment accounted for about 10% of the total transaction value in Poland and was one of the largest real estate M&A transactions in Europe in 2023. This investment strengthened Nrep's position in Poland, expanding its European warehouse portfolio to 4.2 million square meters. The project also enables further growth for 7R, aligned with sustainability standards that are crucial to Nrep, particularly in reducing CO2 emissions and minimizing the environmental impact of real estate.

The Nordic Excellence Awards were presented in seven categories, organized by the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce. In the Rising Star category, companies eligible for the award were those operating in the production or service sectors on the Polish market for no more than five years and demonstrating an exceptional growth rate exceeding the industry average.
